It's been a long long while since I did my last monthly beauty favourites with you, but y'know summer is coming, or at least it feels like it. So this monthly beauty favourites is aimed at the rather snazzy spring / summer weather we're starting to enjoy. 

Nanogen root boost hair thickening spray*: Full review in my previous post

Models own hyper gel polish in Lilac Sheen. A light girly lilac shade, perfect for spring. Quite a bold block colour finish with a glossy sheen. Despite owning many of the newer released Models Own polishes, the hyper gel range remains one of my favs, I'd also recommend the dark dusty blue shade cornflower gleem.  

Nouveau lashes and conditioning serum*. When the beer gardens call and mascara sweating of in the heat doesn't quite cut it for the perfect flutter, a set of falsies will. Since spring/ summer day time outings don't really call for a thick false lash look a natural pair is usually needed. The Nouveau lashes are ideal for more natural make up looks and the thin almost invisible lash strip makes them easy to apply and more comfortable to wear all day long.

The conditioning serum / primer is also something I've recently picked up. If your like me and have the bad habit of picking mascara from your eyes, which we all know will pull out lashes! Then a conditioning serum is my way of been nice to my lashes. Plus it also works as a mascara primer! Genius. 

Bourjois rouge edition aqua laque, shades: 07 fushia perche, 04 viens si tu roses, 02 rosé on the rocks. Saving the best till last. When the rouge edition lip stains first launched last year the hype around them was immense. For good reason too. They literally didn't come of your lips. Ever. So when Aqua laque launched I was pretty keen to try a few out. Not that I had finally bough all the previous edition and it now felt like a collection..not at all *rolls eyes*. 

Where the previous rouge edition products are all matt finishes the aqua laque's are all bright, glossy and still very bold colours on the lips. Shade 07 is a bright pinky red which has a real classic Hollywood feel to it. shade 04 is a browner red shade but makes a perfect day time red lip. The 02 is a nude pinky shade which is one of my favourites for day times. 

The only downside is the lip products do bleed from the lip, despite promising not to, so I'd recommend a lip liner. 

Despite not lasting as long as the  rouge edition once the glossy effect wears off the lips still stain with a subtle pop of colour.

Monthly Beauty Favourites

Imperial leather Foamburst: Sweet vanilla and cherry blossom & Rebalancing green tea and jasmine.*
I love shower gels that lather well as they always tend to feel a little bit more luxurious. The newly revamped foamburst shower gels from Imperial Leather feel great on the skin and are a very affordable treat for the morning wake up shower with the rebalancing green tea and jasmine scent, or good for a post bed shower with the soothing scents of sweet vanilla and cherry blossom. I also find these a great alternative to shaving foam and much better scented (and often cheaper) too. Also the packaging looks pretty cool. 

Superdrug Vitamin E nourishing night cream £2.99
I've had quite dry skin recently and I will admit I don't tent to stick to any long cleansing skin care routine I just use the basics. Therefore I want my products to be simple and require very little effort. Since I do usually forget to moisturise on a morning and am usually running out the house in a rush I prefer to stick to more an easy night time routine. I've never tried many night creams but for £2.99 I picked this up in a Superdrug haul (I think I'm preferring Superdrug to Boots recently) and it's working just fine to add moisture back into my skin. It's by far not the best but for the price It's pretty good and the moisturiser has a good texture. It does the trick for me so spending money on a more expensive night cream seems pretty silly. 

Superdrug dead sea mud mask & aloe vera mud mask £2.59
whenever I'm having bad skin days I seem to always think I really should put a face mask on. Despite these occurring thoughts I haven't bought face masks in years as quite honestly I find them a chore. I am trying to be better to my skin so I picked up these 2 mud mask (buy one get one half price). I must say both have been impressive and they dry very quickly on the skin and you can really feel the tightening tingly sensation on the skin. There is something about mud masks that makes me instantly feel refreshed and reminds me of a spa. Again for the price I'm impressed and hope I find that little bit of extra time to pamper myself every now and again. 

VO5 Plump it up dry shampoo £1.77
I talk quite a bit about my my fine damaged hair and I'm always looking for a quick fix to cure it. Whilst there is no quick fix to this what there is, is a quick fix to volume. Having had a love hate relationship with batiste xxl volume dry shampoo for about 2 years I find it drys the hair out and makes it feel matted. I was sceptical this product would do the same but for a volumising dry shampoo it actually still leaves the hair feeling soft just with the added extra bounce.

Monthly Beauty Favourites

So you may know by now I'm not the most punctual of people. Although this is a little late, here are my monthly beauty favourites from May. Better late than never aye?

Tanya Burr Nail Varnish in Little Duck

Superdrug - £5.99
So to most of you I doubt Tanya Burr needs little introduction. I must admit although I don't follow her myself I was still bound to be curious when a blogger/YouTuber launched her own range of nail varnishes and lip glosses. I'm also proud of the way it shows the positive changes in the media industry from the power of social networks. Good on you girl! After visits to 3 Superdrug stores I finally tracked down the one product I wanted the most. This delightful little nail varnish in the shade Little Duck. I wouldn't say it's a long lasting nail varnish or particularly great quality but the colour is stunning. It's also an excellent dupe of the well loved (more expensive) Essie's Candy Apple (nail varnish). I would defiantly recommend using a good quality top coat to prevent from such quick chipping. 

Oriflame The One Eyeliner stylo*

Oriflame - £5.95
This is a fairly impressive product. Although I don't have the steadiest of hands when it come to applying any kind of liquid eye-liner or pen style eye-liners I was really impressed with this product. I may need a little work at applying it in a straight line however one thing that's guaranteed is this product lasts. The stuff seriously does not budge. Further details of Oriflame here.  

Sleek blush in Rosegold

I've never been a massive blusher person. I really don't know what changed recently as the last few months I seemed to of made quite a few blush purchases. The one shade that I utterly love and what has become a make up bag staple for me has been the sleek blusher in rose gold. It's a georgeous rose colour with a very obvious gold shimmer. It gives a very flushed look to the cheeks with a brilliant shimmer. For me this is also lazy make up at it's best. I find when I cant be bothered with highlighters and contouring this is a perfect quick fix for still looking like you made an effort with your face.  

L'Oreal Elvive extraordinary oil mist
L'Oreal - £9.99
This product was defiantly not an instant attraction, however over time I have grown to love this hair oil mist. At first I found it made my hair feel weighed down and a bit greasy, however after my roots were done my hair has been feeling very sorry for it's self as the bleach really seems to have taken it's toll this time and I turned to this hair oil for comfort. I've found spraying onto towel dried hair and leaving for a few minuets before blow drying really helps keep my hair soft and tangle free. I am still cautious of using this on dry hair as it can make hair feel greasy however in small amounts this is a very good product for seriously dry hair. 

Eco Tools - Flawless face set
Feel unique - £11.99
This is such a cute unique little kit and it has some very nice make up brushes which I hadn't seen in other ranges before. Although the foundation brush is tiney tiny and not practical for the whole face I really enjoy using these brushes for applying concealer more precisely and overall helping create a more flawless face.

Monthly Beauty Favourites

Dior Addict Perfume

This has been my favourite perfume for a long time. I've not worn this in about a year and half simply because it's a little expensive. A colleague recently went away on a holiday and due to duty free prices and some additional discount this 100ml bottle ended up costing me only £53.00! I love this scent it lasts all day and really is luxurious. A little squirt of this makes me feel good all day long as the scent lingers about in the air. To describe the perfume is a little difficult, it's basically smells classy, sophisticated and usually generates a few compliments. It's a intense perfume with a slight musky vanilla smell without been overpowering. 

No7 Lash Impact Mascara - £10.00

I picked this up on a whim in Boots. Well not a whim as I was shopping for mascara but when the No7 lady came over to tell me the new mascara was on offer for £10 and came with a free eye liner and lip gloss I was sold. Now at first I was disappointed by this it has no dramatic impact what so ever. I then also realised the colour I had bought was black/brown. Is black/brown even a colour? However I've grown to love this a little. As it has no dramatic impact whatsoever it actually ends up looking just simply very natural. For a great natural subtle look its amazing. For dramatic impact a big thumbs down. 

TRESemme Salon Smooth Serum - 30ml £4.50

I've been recommending this to friends for about a month. I'm always on the look out for new hair products and usually when it comes to my hair I enjoy the high end products. Since the TV adverts are constantly reminding me TRESemme started in professional hair salons I thought I'd try out a few of the newer products from the brand (I also tried the hair mask). As you may be aware I have been in love with the show beauty hair oil since the day I bought it, however at £50 a pop I needed a replacement. Although this serum doesn't have any scent to it, it really does leave my hair silky smooth and feels salon finished. I have already bought 2 replacements as I'm going through this little bottle rather quickly.

I had seen these online on boots when they were first released and something about them really caught my eye. On my bloggers holiday I finally managed to pick these up. Testing these out in Superdrug along with 5 beauty bloggers I knew I had spotted a great product, as we all tested them out on the backs of our hands. After I got to test them out properly that evening I can now say for sure these things do not budge of your lips. They apply in the same way as a lip stain but give a stronger matt finish and can be layered up until a bolder colour is achieved. They take a few seconds to dry on the lips but after this the colour lasts all night. I'm sure there will be a lot of fuller reviews of these flying around on the blogsphere within the up coming months.

February Beauty Favourites

Richard Ward - Keraine smoothing mist*
125ml £5.99 (exclusive to Waitrose)
Now if you've ever questioned who is behind the bouncy world famous locks of Kate Middleton than look no further than Richard Ward. Now I've never met the guy but something's telling me the beauty queen's famous lock's don't come cheap. However the good fella Richard Ward is, he has launched his own hair care range so we can all at least try and achieve something along the standard's of the Duchess's. The keratin smoothing mist is a leave in condition and helps restore some life back into dull dry hair. I found a few squirts of this left my hair shiny and smooth. Unlike some leave in conditioners that can feel a little sticky it left my hair feeling soft and refreshed. I wouldn't say this product had a fantastic smell but it smelt basically like a typical hair salon product. At £5.99 it's a bargain in terms of high end hair care. I've found I've been using this through the day to give my hair a little pick me up. I can defiantly say I will be repurchasing this product. 

Lierac - Cleansing oil
150ml £6.99 TK Maxx (In store)
Lierac seems to be a brand that seems to pop up on randomly and to be honest It's a brand I've not really seen much of in the UK. I have a few products by the brand already (not sure where from though) and I recently came across the cleansing oil in TK Maxx. I've been wanting to try a cleansing oil for a while and since the product was on offer (well in TK Maxx if that counts) I thought I'd try it out. The cleansing oil is perfect for removing make up and is very gentle on the eyes. It's perfect for removing the  likes of stubborn mascara and eye shadows and I no longer come out the shower with panda eyes. It leaves my skin feeling soft and doesn't leave behind and residue which was my main concern with a oil based product. Overall if you come across it's definitely worth a try for an inexpensive cleansing oil.  

La Roche posay - Effaclar duo[+]

If you're a regular blog reader or youtube watcher you will of already read a million reviews on this product, it's really taken the beauty world by a little storm. On the other hand if your me you've only just purchased it. I never really jump on the band wagon of the next big product (errmmm yes you do Sammie) however I saw this in boots with a little sticker promising me my money back if I wasn't happy. On that note I finally made a purchase. Well the product really does live up to the hype, it's really cleared my skin as before I had a few breakouts around my chin what didn't seem to want to go. I've also noticed my skin looks a lot smoother and fresher with a more even skin tone. I best stop before I start sounding like an advert. Some people may consider this a little pricey for the size of the tube but a little does go a long way. 

Rootflag - Blonde root touch up*
$24.95

The concept behind this product is amazing, a lightweight hair powder to help hide my roots available in different tones. However I spent an awful long time trying to get the product out and fully working. The idea is to twist the base to release the product through the brush and brush over your roots. That aside the product did disguise my roots a little when I finally got some of the product out, there was no wow factor but it did help. On the grounds of the genuine idea here and the fact it makes going out with roots more bearable this product is making my favs list. I have since been informed the packaging has been redesigned so the application of the product is a lot easier.

December Beauty Favourites

Vaseline - Spray & Go body moisturiser - £4.99
I will admit I'm a very lazy person when it comes to applying body moisturiser, I know it's good for my skin but I can rarely be bothered. Although I love the Lush dream cream and it absorbs fast It's still a chore for me. Since I've been going on sunbeds recently I've been sticking to regularly moisturising my skin otherwise it can become very dry. The spray and go body moisturiser is super easy to apply and the spray works well and applies just the right amount of product. The only downside to this is the moisturiser is rather cold so this will probably become more favourites in the summer. 

Boots - Skin clear - Deep cleansing lotion - £1.49
I've been using this product in place of a toner and I find it really helps remove the last bits of make up of my face what just a daily facial wash misses. I've noticed it's help clear away some trouble spots I'd had for a while and for £1.49 I will defiantly be re-purchasing. 

Rimmel - Apocalips lip lacquer - £5.99
I've seen the Apocalips collection on blog after blog for a while now and really wanted to give these a try. The colours last well and the product is not sticky or gloopy and is easy to apply. I've noticed you can kind of build up the products by either applying a small amount to to give a tinted look to lips or more you can build up more product for a more full on lip gloss style look. The only down side is I don't feel the collection has a big enough range of colours. 

Maybelline - Baby lips - Pink punch - £2.99
Again this was a product that has been floating round the blogsphere for a while now and for £2.99 I thought I'd give this a try. The baby lips is a lip balm and the pink punch has a lovely tint of pink, I love the subtle colour it adds to my lips and I have found the product leaves my lips soft and hydrated. The product also smells amazing. This has defiantly been a handbag staple for the last few weeks.

Neal's Yard Remedies - Aromatic Foaming Bath

(Included in the herbal organic bathing collection) £13.00 *

So as you may be aware from my last post, I was recently introduced to the brand Neal's Yard Remedies. Although I've heard of this brand for a long time I had never tried there products. Since I don't have a bath (just a shower, I miss my bath) I have been using the Aromatic Foaming Bath product to soak my feet. I never thought this would work but I've found it so relaxing. The smell is also incredible and soothing. I'm not normally a fan of herbal smelling products but I've found it very relaxing (obviously a glass of wine in hand helps too)

The Body Shop - Vitamin C Skin revive 30ml £13.00

The body shop is a brand I'm much more familiar with. I often forger to look in the body shop for good quality affordable make up and skin care, yet upon my little visit there last week to pick up a secret Santa present for a girl at work I noticed the skin revive cream/primer what I had tried a while back at there make up master class. I'm not sure whether to refer to this as a cream or a serum as it's texture is a little more unusual compared to other face creams. The reviver gives an instant radiance boost to skin and contains light reflecting practicals so it can be worn on its own or as a primer. I have noticed it makes my skin instantly more radiant and you can almost see the sparkling shimmer-esk effect (in a good way, it won't leave you with a shiny face). In addition I've found it helps my make up glide on so much easier. 

Rimmel London - Scandaleyes shadow stick, tempting turquoise £4.49

I've only worn this product a handful of times so far (it's not exactly day wear make up) yet every time I've had amazing compliments. Everyone seems to instantly assure with the bright blue colour its Urban Decay and are shocked when I tell them it's Rimmel. The colour is very easy to apply considering the pencil is chunky. The colour is very pigmented and is very easy to apply. The colour lasts well, in fact it lasts so well its a little hard to remove. Considering that's my only complaint the products an absolute bargain. Since I'm so impressed I can't wait to treat myself to a few more shades, the bad girl bronze looks pretty festive. 

Maybelline - Super stay 10hour tint gloss, timeless plum 380 £6.99

The product gives a nice tint and although the colour isn't as vibrant as other long wear lip glosses and lip tints the colour is good for both day and night wear. The shape of the brush is a little too round what makes it a little difficult to apply but this is just a small criticism. The price is very reasonable and one of the cheapest on the market for long wear lip tints. 

Show Beauty - Treatment oil  60ml £50.00

I've been raving to anyone and everyone about this products, looking a little weird asking my friends to feel my hair. For me this is my ultimate hair care product at the moment.

October Beauty Favourites

 Hair Chalk - eBay

£6.89

I recently wrote a post on hair chalks when I first tried them and ever since I've loved them. The picture in the post really doesn't do this product justice as my camera makes the colour look far too bright when in fact the colours look much softer and more of a pastel shade. I can now confirm the colours last one wash so you don't have to be scared of experimenting with them. There also great if you don't want to commit to a more permanent crazy hair colour. To apply I simply dip the chalks in water and rub onto dry hair. Although the chalks are non-toxic I do find the chalk dries the hair out so I wouldn't advise using these all the time. 

Urban Decay - Naked 2 Palette 

This product needs very little introduction. I may have borrowed this from my sister this week (wait to argument to now commence) and have since spent all week trying to find one. Does anyone know if this has been discontinued? I'm sure most people who watch YouTube make up tutorials or read beauty blogs will remember the massive hype around this product. For some reason I'm years behind everyone with having only just tried this, I know crazy right! Anyway the product it's self contains mostly gold/brown shades and like all urban decay eye shadows all the colours are extremely pigmented. I've found this palette has the perfect selection of colours for creating smoking eyes yet also a lot of the colours would be easy to use for day or work make up.

Collection 2000 - Glam Crystals - Glitter liquid eyeliner - £2.99

I'm a huge glitter fan and have loved glitter eye liners for a long time. I used to have a stock pile almost of glitter eye-liners and would always have them on for nights out. A year or so back I would always be experimenting with eye-shadow and would always make my eyes the focus of my make up. Recently I've become a little boring and stuck to more simple make up. Yet this weekend I had an urge to get my creativity back and had a craving to buy some glitter. I've used the Collection 2000 range a lot in the past and the glitters are amazing not to mention a bargain (currently on 342 at Boots). The glitter eye-liner is easy to apply although the brush is thin which means its also easy to apply under the eyes it also contains a lot of glitter. Some glitter eye liners I often find I'm ages applying as there isn't enough glitter in the product. When you've tried these this will make more sense. Having gone out Saturday with gold glitter eyes I'm not more excited then ever for the Christmas party season. 

The Body Shop - Shea Lip Butter - £4.00

With the cold weather now here it often means skin and lips become dry and chapped. The lip butter range from the body shop is perfect for preventing lips becoming dry and the butters are non-greasy. I will say a little goes a long way as applying too much and you will have white lips. I bought a collection of these a while back and since I have one on my work desk, my handbag and by my bed I've been using these a lot.

September Beauty Favourites

The Body Shop - Pink grapefruit shower gel 60ml £2.00*

This was one of the little gifts I was given by The Body Shop after the make up master class last week. I normally choose the milder scents such as there coca, honey or almond but I've loved using this shower gel. It has such a lovely refreshing smell, perfect for perking me up on the now colder winter-coming mornings. Plus at £2 for the little bottles I think I will be stocking up, I've next got my eye on the satsuma shower gel.  

Urban Veda - Purifying day cream 50ml £14.99*

I'm always trying to find a good in-expensive face cream and usually very few make an impact on me. Yet as soon as I squeezed the product out I noticed it was slightly thicker than most moisturisers. Applying onto my face I noticed this product feels a little more like a primer than a face cream and had a lovely silky texture. The product is designed for oil prone skin and also helps minimise pores. I've only been using this a few days now and I'm in love. 

Urban Veda - Radiance exfoliating polish 125ml £8.99*

After amazing results with the day cream I was excited to try the exfoliating polish. Firstly this is quite a gritty exfoliator so you can really feel it working. It left my skin super soft. I've now been checking out all the Urban Veda range and pay-day best hurry up as I need to stock up. 

Witch - Blemish stick £2.89*

I've never really had great skin and I'm pretty prone to breakouts. Who ever it was that said its just teenagers who suffer from breakouts was extremely mistaken. The product contains witch hazel which helps prevent skin irritations and further inflammation of spots. I usually apply this when I feel those under the skin sports making an appearance. The product gives a tingly sensation what is usually a good sign its working. It does dry the skin out a little what usually all spot preventing products do, so I find it best to apply this at night. This product isn't a miracle product but then again no product really is, however at £2.89 I'd defiantly re-purchase this.

August Beauty Favourites

It's no secret to anyone I love my blonde hair. However been blonde comes with a price. I'm often paranoid my hair looks yellow and all the bleaching (shhh don't tell anyone but it's not my natural colour) often leaves my hair dry and damaged. Therefore I'm forever searching for the perfect blonde hair routine and forever trying new products. Therefore this month my beauty favourites has come to you courtesy of my blonde hair. 

MilkShake

Conditioning whipped cream *

Firstly this product really does have the texture of whipped cream and smells a little like banoffee pie,I wasn't sure weather I should put this on my hair or cheekily squirt some in my mouth when no one was looking. The product can be used on dry or damp hair and acts like a leave in conditioner. The mouse is designed to maintain colour and leave hair feeling soft. I was expecting the rigid 90's hair quality of typical hair mouse but it actually left my hair feeling silky and smelling delicious. 

Fekkai Advanced

Anti-fade top coat

RRP £20.00 50ml

This product is aimed at fighting frizz and also maintaining hair colour and preventing colour fading. This product is a little pricey but its a brand I trust and a brand that is known for quality. Spending £20 on make up most of us don't think twice about if its for good quality yet when it comes to hair care we seem to think more about the purse strings, so using this injects a little luxury into the daily hair care routine. The product itself smells incredible and leaves my hair glossy.

Matrix

Colour care so silver

RRP £10.95 300ml

In comparison to other silver shampoos the Matrix so silver is rather strong and brightens up hair pretty quickly. However be warned it can give a blue tint to hair in places, although that's one of the features I love. That said its probably because I try and leave silver shampoo on my hair for as long possible when I'm in the shower. All in all it is one of the best silver shampoos I've tried. I do still favour Lee Stafford's bleach blondes shampoo immensely but that tends to give hair a lilac tint (what I love) but sometimes I want my hair more white/blonde than pinky/lilac.

Shine tonic

RRP £1.66 100ml

For a bargain price of £1.66 this is a product I have been buying for years. It's a leave in shimmer, shine and repair spray for dry and damaged hair. It's basically a shine spray. There was a time when I loved Bedhead shine spray and it was pretty much a cult product however after I discovered this for a fraction of the price I was hooked. This never fails to leave my hair glossy and it makes my hair smell like I've just left the salon. Again at £1.66 you need this!

July Beauty Favourites

 It feels a little weird jumping form a foodie post into a beauty favourites, well what can I say, my blog my rules. 

I've had quite a few beauty products to get excited about this month so picking out my favs was a little tricky. I also may have gone on a mini haul on fragrance direct over the weekend so when that arrives I'm guessing next month will be a little harder. However here is what lotions and potions I've been enjoying this month. 

Twisted sista hair serum £1.

  So as your might be able to tell from the packaging this product is designed for afro hair. Now since my blog is titled little BLONDE life you may have already guessed I don't have afro hair. However this product was recommended to me by a hairdresser some time ago for damaged or dry hair. I recently came across it in a pound shop when I threw it into the basket. I never thought to add this product onto the favourites until this afternoon when I saw sat twiddling my hair around my finger bored at work wondering why my hair felt so silky. Low and behold it was down to this cheap little yet rather amazing product. For the price of this product (I'm not sure but I'm going to put my neck on the line and guess a pound) its worth the try. 

The body shop - Almond oil, hand rescue £11.00

I always seem to suffer from dry hands and I am forever trying different hand creams. I think I currently have 3 on my desk at work, 2 in my handbag and countless scattered around my bedroom. So I know my hand creams! This was a rather good purchase this month and I've already gone through quite a lot of it. It smells nice, is fast absorbing and keeps my hands nice a smooth for a long time. Everything a gal could want in hand cream. It was also thicker than most hand creams and although it was scented it still didn't irritate my skin. The only downside I have is the screw top pot type packaging. Unlike most hand creams with there on the go flip top caps its a little impractical and so for that reason its more a product for a dressing table then and handbag or desk.

I often find, finding beauty products for my face I like hard to come by. They either feel like they don't work, dry my skin out, make it greasy, or I just see no results whatsoever. However every blue moon I find something I like. The vitimin C Serum has been brilliant for my skin recently and a little of this product massaged gently into my skin seems to work wonders. Although using even the slightest bit more than needed can make the skin feel, not oily as such but it feels as though the product stays on your skin for a long time before it absorbs, I would recommend using this product before bedtime to wake up fresh faced. Or if your like me and need rescuing Sunday morning when you have hangovers from hell and want a day in your Jim jams watching questionable TV it's also perfect then.

I really did shock myself when I used this product. I've never been a fan of using body lotion much. As a kid whenever sun cream was applied to me I would stand there like a mummy whilst my own mum latherer hell in a bottle onto me before I toddled of in a zombie like walk to jump back into the swimming pool and try and wash of the god awful sun cream of my skin. 

So to say I'm in love with this product. Is a big deal.

As mentioned before my skin is rather sensitive to I avoid anything too heavily perfumed when it comes to body lotions. This doesn't have much of a scent to it what's surprising when you think of lush products. However what really sold me was how quickly absorbent it is. I can scoop out big handfuls of this stuff and not have to worry I've applied too much. It also leaved my skin feeling silky soft.

June Beauty Favourites

Well hello there everyone. It feels like forever since I have blogged. I'm putting it down mostly due to technical difficulties, my sister hogging the laptop and myself been too lazy sunbathing. Well we do need to make the most of the weather. Considering Saturday I was out sunbathing until I was squashed up into the corner clinging on to the last rays of sun for dear life I feel I did just that. This post is quite clearly rather late however here are my favourite beauty products from June.  

 Lush Daddy-O Shampoo

I am always looking to try new purple shampoos as I can't stand any hint of yellow in my blonde hair. I saw this product quite a while ago but never got around to trying it. The shampoo wasn't fantastic for brightening blonde hair and we all know I favour Lee Stafford bleach blondes for the pinky tint it gives my hair. However this shampoo simply smelt amazing. With all lush products whenever I used this shampoo I would find myself sat sniffing my hair throughout the day. As weird as I might seem to any on lookers this shampoo made my hair smell like palmer violets. Delicious. 

 Barry M Nail varnish - Blue Moon

I've been a fan of Barry M nail varnishes for years and often find I can't take a trip to Boots or Superdrug without throwing one in the basket. I absolutely love this colour and feel the pale blue is very on trend. 

Lush - Sea Spray Hair Mist

I often find when I've just washed and blow dried by hair it becomes some what fine and fly away. If I'm heading out I will often add some dry shampoo to tame it and add a little volume. However I recently discovered the Sea Spray from lush and this works magic. The best way I can sum this product up is by saying it makes your hair "beachy" kinda a little wavy but it helps maintain your hair style. I also makes hair a lot more manageable. 

Dior Addict - Eau de parfum

This has been a long time favourite perfume for me and I usually try reserve it for special occasions although its one of those perfume what will instantly make you feel good. As you can tell in the photo the bottle is now empty. I read recently a nice quote that said "If you cant afford a channel handbag wear channel perfume" the quote did make perfect sense and wearing such a luxurious perfume does make me feel just as good.

Paul Mitchell* - Moisture Mist 100ml

I'm always looking for products to make my hair that bit more healthier. With bleach blonde hair, my hair often gets very dry. I'm always a little bit sceptical of any product that is essentially a leave in conditioner but this product has been fantastic. It made my hair that little bit more shiny and silky yet didn't make my hair feel greasy like some leave in conditioners. I especially love how the product can be used for both hair and skin. 

Lee Stafford - Hair growth treatment 200ml

What better way to describe a product then saying it does exactly what it say on the tin. Again since I insist on having blonde hair my hair is rather prone to breaking and snapping. I'v only been using this product for a few weeks yet I have already noticed the condition of my hair improve a lot. It also smells great.

Skinetica* - Anti blemish solution 80ml

Designed to tackle problem skin and breakouts I really love this product. Recently I'v suffered quite a few break outs what's a bit bizarre since I'v never really had spotty skin and yet when I hit 22 suddenly those little blemishes have been making appearances. The product is super easy to use just apply twice a day with cotton wool to clean skin. 

Lush* - Charisma skin tint 20g

This product can be worn under make up or mixed with a little moisturiser to give skin a healthier glow or used as a bronzer. The product is really good value as a little goes a long long way. I'm always a bit cautious of bronzing products as they either look chalky on the skin or make me look orange but this product was light and gave an amazing sun kissed colour. 

Benefit* - The pore-fessional 

I'm often paranoid I have large pores on and around my nose and I'm always looking for a good primer product to conceal this. The Benefit pore-fessional is like the polyfilla of the make up world. (Am I aloud to say that in a beauty review?) It concealed all those little pores instantly was easy to blend and despite me just comparing the product to polyfilla it actually feels very light on the skin. I was really shocked how well this product worked and it has now become a staple in my make up bag.
