Monthly Shoe Wishlist | Gym Edition |

Ahh the monthly shoe wishlist. It's that time again, well for me payday, yippiee. Although I must say I spend a considerable amount of time browsing shoes (and buying them) all year round. In fact if you aren't aware, I'm now part of a new shoe blog, what's coming soon here

So this month it dawned on me that I've mostly lived in two pair's of shoes despite my extensive (and mostly impractical) collection. One been a pair of summer sandals, all be the great British weather has other ideas, the second been trainers. Yep if you haven't had enough of me on twitter gloating how well I'm doing at the gym I thought I'd do it in the form of a shoe wishlist.

Since I've been doing so well at the gym (oops there I go again) then I figured I'd treat myself. It's also a good motivation boost to have some swanky new kicks and if I'm honest there aren't many other options for trying to look good whilst sweating it out at the gym.

1. Nike Rosherun Black Hyp Trainers - ASOS £83.00 £49.00
I'm much more a fan of colourful trainers than black (yet thinking about my current trainers are mostly black). However I'm so drawn towards these. The colourful soles look fun and bright whilst the whole looks of the trainers remain sleek and stylish.

2. Puma TX-3 Nylon Black Trainers - ASOS £65.00 £27.00
What's not to like about these? They remind me almost of pop art with the retro print and the design is brilliantly executed. I think these will be more of a weekend errands trainers than the gym however at £27.00 there a bargain.

3. New Balance Black/Blue Suede and Mesh 430 Trainers - ASOS £60.00 £42.00
Weirdly enough when I see these I instantly think they need a pair of black skinny jeans and a silk varsity jacket. I kind of love hate these but either way I think there pretty cool so they've made the list. If it makes sense to anyone (definatly won't do) but the fact I think there a little bit tacky looking makes me like them a lot more.

4. Nike Orange Rosherun Trainers - ASOS £70.00 £49.00
I think these are going to be my new trainers of choice. The bright orange colours should add that spring in step for the treadmill and since most my gym clothes are black and a little dull this should add a nice amount of colour to my gym attire.

P.S I promised you I'm not been sponsored by ASOS to write this, it turns out they actually had the best sale on at the moment.

Monthly Shoe Wishlist

Converse All Start - East Coaster (Pink)
Schuh - Junior - £30.00
I've been recently feeling excited for summer. Browsing for holidays, drinking brothers peach melba cider in beer gardens and last week I actually left the house without a jacket on! Yep summer is starting to peek through the pesky clouds and this year I'm more excited than ever. Although I don't particularly know why. The ultimate summer shoe has to be the timeless converse. I've nearly always purchased white converse and it's taken many years to realise white converse don't stay white for long. This year I thought I'll finally decide to step away from "white" and opt for a more pastel colour. I love these pink converse although I'm thinking maybe more a powder blue colour would also be nice.

Vans - Palisade Vulc Shoes (Blue/Lilac)
Vans - £40.00
I bought a pair of these slip on vans about 2 years ago and I am crazy about them. (yes we are still talking about shoes). Every time I dig them out I think to myself "why do I not wear these more". There perfect for the summer for throwing on for trips to the park, BBQ's and of course beer gardens and holidays. There the perfect holiday day time staple for doing pretty much anything in. Since my current pair are boring old black and white I'm thinking this year I'll opt for something more fun and I love the tie die blue and lilac tone pair.

New Balance - Womens U410 Suede/Mesh Trainers
Footasylum - £54.99
Trainers. Again. Ohh Sammie. Well again summer is all about just simply lulling about and having fun. Heels and nights out are swapped for day time events and everything becomes a little more casual. In my eyes anyway. I really feel as though my trainer addiction is becoming more and more justified with every grey cloud that passes.

Monthly Shoe Wishlist

Clarks Originals - Woolrich Black & Red Woolrich Desert Boots
£89.99 now £29.99 - Branch 309
I've had these bookmarked on the laptop patiently waiting for pay day for a good few weeks. I say patiently waiting I think sweat has actually hit the keyboard each time I check there still in stock. There gorgeous. I know the picture doesn't really say stylish but have a good nosey at them they look amazing. Unlike the pair below there practical and look easy to throw on. I can imagine these been good autumn, winter shoes with a pair of jeans or some effortlessly stylish fashionista outfit with turned up denim shorts or dungarees come the sunshine. Unfortunately for me the bargain price they are means I can now only find them in stock in size 4's everywhere and tears are now hitting the keyboard. If anyone spots these in a size 5 please tweet me @LilBlondeSammie.

New Look - Look Amaze All Over Glitter Ankle Boots
£29.99 now £14.50 - ASOS
I promised I was going to be a good girl this month. Then something happened. These glitter ball delights hit the sale. I genuinely can't think any practical use for these, however I had some funds laying about in my Pay-pal account, I saw they hit the sale and you know the rest all too well. I'm thinking a simple black blouse, some disco pants and jackpot..Friday night is sorted. At half price I deserve to feel every bit the rock goddess in these, right?

Funky Jelly Sandals
£10.00 - ASOS
Hands up who had a pair of Jelly Shoes as a kid? Yooohooo *Jumps and waves*. Obviously as a kid these things made you super cool. I had a pair of silver glitter ones with a small heel on them. I freaking loved them. Although I'm pretty sure they only lasted around 1 summer they were awesome. When the 90's fashion started coming back I kind of though, what the hell are they going to bring back from the 90's? I remember pogs in my packets of Monster Munch, been able to get a toy in my box of Wheetos without people fearing I would choke on it and constantly wishing I was a contestant on Fun House. But Fashion. I couldn't remember anything. Then some genius recreated these. Move over Christian Louboutin, this summer I'll be back wearing jelly shoes.

Puma St Runner (youth - size 5)
Schuh
These may have accidentally fallen into my shopping basket already. Well what can I say this week was a revelation, for someone who loves all shoes when I actually realised kids trainers go up to a size 5 and are basically half the cost I've been eyeing up rather a lot of pairs. I think only Sunday I greedily picked out 3 pairs in the shop. It was only when one pair looked silly, one were out of stock and then the shopping assistant tried fobbing me of with an ex-display pair did I leave empty handed. I've also been a little more cautious about wasting money on shoes I've been paid a whole of 2 days and bought 2 pairs already, plus when I gave it a thought I really only ever were trainers on Friday which would mean a new pair for each Friday this month, silly really. (Total hypocrite right here, P.S I've currently just been out bid on eBay for a gorgeous pair of tan Kickers and could cry).

Top right:
DM Clemency boots
Dr Martens
As below (little out of sync pictures) but after I got browsing the DM website these stunning beauties caught my eye.

Bottom left:
DM Sadie boots
Dr Marten
I'm pretty sure I walk with my head to the ground looking at peoples shoes. Sunday walking through Leeds I suddenly stopped in my tracks let out a little gasp and grabbed my friends arm...I had witnessed heaven. Heaven for those of you who don't know is a black patent boot, with signature yellow stitching and the iconic DM tag on the back. I already have a pair of DM heels and I love them! So seeing these stylish boots styled to perfection my eyes turned green and my head hit the clouds. Shoe envy does not describe how nice these boots looked in person. elegant yet chunky I just need to think about how I would style these before making a commitment.

Bottom right:
Nike elite (junior)
JD Sports
I love how these trainers look in some ways understated and not to mention the bargain price. I've been to the shop twice now and twice have these been sold out. I really see these as a throw on pair of trainers, you know the kind that typically get a lot of wear out of, throw them on to the shops, throw them on for a walk, throw them on for casual Friday in the office, throw them on to buy more trainers...now stop it!

Monthly Shoe Wishlist

ASOS - Runway lace up ankle boots - £55.00
I simply adore the fine mix of elegance and practicality in these boots. The simple tan leather and chunky heel make these ideal for the current wintery, stormy, rainy weather we're currently having yet remain feminine. I imagine pairing these with some dark blue jeans and a classic mac or boyfriend fit coat for the perfect mix of stylish weather appropriate fashion.

River Island - Black cut out cleated sole ankle boots. - £40.00
I must admit I do have a few pairs of cut out boots and don't really need any more as I can guarantee I will end up reverting back to my primark pair (honestly best buy ever). Yet I have slightly fell in love with these due to the fact I can imagine they will go with everything. From swing dresses with black tights to skinny jeans to work skirts with blouses I really see the practicality in these boots. The thick white sole clashing against the black with buckle details really will add a grungy fashionista feel to most outfits yet remaining practical. I can also see these lasting through the seasons when worn in the right way.

Nike dual fusion trainers - £60.00
I'm back again with what seems to be my favourite trainers just featured in different colours. I'm still hopeful I will join a gym although my reason now (excuse) is it's too cold on a night. I've been waiting for lighter nights as leaving work around 6 each night does mean it makes things a little awkward but I guess I should just go for at least an hour. I think when I find trainers in my size that I like, I will join....I promise.

Top left: Charlotte Olympia (Serena silk platform sandals)
The Outnet £272
Wow. I was seriously in love when I came across these on the Outnet this week (well actually the discount, I'm pretty sure I've seen the shoes before). As usually with all Charlotte Olympia shoes on there they have sold out in my size. I'm still not sure if they look a little too much like bridal shoes but to be honest I'm still sold. These shoes remind me of 1920's Hollywood with the classic knot tied bow on the front. I've also been seriously lusting after white shoes the last few months however with the weather as it is and my night out habits, I don't think these would remain perfectly white for long.

Top right: Onitsuka Tiger Ult-racer Trainers blue
Zalando £38
I had these trainers in my favourites basket on ASOS for the last few months with the intention of joining a gym. However to my despair when pay day came these have virtually sold out and my size had gone. Luckily I've found them on Zalando at an even cheaper price. So really I can't say no. There's something about the colours that's really drawing me in.

Bottom left: Nike Air Pegasus 83 Trainers
ASOS £67
Back with more trainers (no doubt when I come to buy these will be sold out). I stunned by just how perfect these are. They fit the vintage bill perfectly, there bang on the trainer trend and the colours are a perfect match with the purple and pale turquoise complementing the browny beige tone.

Bottom right: ASOS Kingdom Leather Over The Knee Boots
ASOS Now £42.50
This is a very practical choice this month as I've been living the last pair of boots I bought for a few months now. (seen on this wishlist). There so practical to throw on for work in the colder months were having. The knee length makes them more desirable for a more casual look yet still smart enough for the office. Plus as they've just the sales...it's a sign.

Monthly Shoe Wishlist | Christmas edition |

Top left: ALDO: Dwaydien - midnight black £70.00
So as I've previously mentioned by new job in now back in the city centre (hence lack of posting at the moment). This has come with its own problem of too much window shopping. A brief 5 minuet walk through town to work can end up taking a lot longer as you will regularly find me stood gazing at shoes in shop windows. This is when I happened to spot these beautiful shoes in ALDO. As much as these are perfect for a night out I'm also trying to convince myself these would be practical for work to justify buying them, although maybe not?

Top right: Designer Desirables: Lemonade Shoes Baby Pink Crystal Couture Glitzy High Heel Pumps £250.00 £62.50
The Christmas season is well and truly upon us and no Christmas night out would be complete without the perfect pair of party heels. I'm still shocked by the amazing reduction on these and with a £187.50 saving these would be an amazing treat for myself. Obviously my new job has justified a lot recently, multiple Costa coffees, a nice lunch, new clothes, the pair of shoes mentioned above etc but the saving starts in January right?

Bottom left:Topshop: Rebel pink mirror heels £48.00 £38.00
Ok so these would defiantly be a wear as off kind of item but these defiantly caught my eye. I'm not sure if I would be able to pull of wearing these, however as much I would be willing to give this a go I think for now this hot pink little pair remain in Topshop.

Bottom right: River Island: Multi chain strap sandals £70.00
I've always found River Island hit and miss for shoes and clothes although some people love it I'm much more a topshop gal. However since I picked up a pretty nice (and practical believe it or not) pair of boots here recently I thought I'd have a little browse. I adore the chain detail on the shoes and could defiantly see myself wearing these quite a lot.

Monthly Shoe Wishlist

This post is up a little earlier than usual (I usually post around pay day) however at the weekend I'm packing my bags and heading to the fairytale town of Bruges. Hopefully I'll have more exciting things to share with you next week. So far this week seems to be going slow and is quite uneventful. Although I was successful in getting a new job, so maybe a little has happened. Plus I have finally seen the Coca-cola Christmas advert soooo holidays are coming. I guess I've got quite a lot to look forward to next month.

ASOS - Faith Cynthia slipper style heeled shoes - £50
I'm forever on the ASOS app my phone looking at new arrivals adding everything I see to the saved basket. I usually find this tactic pretty good as it gives me chance to really think about what I like and want before I buy it come pay day. It's also a really useful tip to save everything you like then when It comes to buying a dress for example instead of looking through the 100's of pages on ASOS you can look through your saved list of things you know you like.  Anyhow these shoes have been sitting in my saved basket for a while and every time I scroll past them they become more adorable. The cute almost Christmas-esk slipper style make me think if Cinderella had a 9-5 she would of worn these.

Topshop - Malta leather brogue boots - £45
These need to be on my wishlist as I'm really lacking in practical winter shoes. Ballet pumps and converse are not the warmest of footwear and although the rain and snow is still keeping at bay for the moment, this is England and it's inevitable. I love the vintage looking boots they always seem to look more classy and chic and at least when the gritty snowy roads get there hands on them it will add to there appearance.

The Outnet - Christian Louboutin - Devidas 140 embellished suede pumps - £742.50
I guess the ultimate on every shoe lovers wishlist is a pair of Christian Loutoutins. I came across these on The Outnet which at the moment are stocking a number of pairs of Louboutins and jumped for joy as all the pairs in stock are heavily reduced in price. Sadly for me I still can't afford a pair at the moment but I think I will be saving my pennies and one day I know I'll be strutting around in my own red soles. The Louboutins I've currently fallen in love with above are adorable for winter heels and remind me of Russian doll shoes.

Top left:
Nike Dual Fusion TR
JD Sports - £60.00
I've loved the trainers meets fashion trend for a while now and the trainers I own are more edging towards fashion then they are useful. It was refreshing to come across a pair of trainers that are practical enough for running in (well making me start again) and yet look amazing. I love the mix of pastel and bright colours here and lets be honest nothing beats the comfort of trainers. Until recently I'd not worn trainers in many years and what can I say I'm hooked. Who knows these even look like they might get me doing actual exercise.

Top right:
Red or Dead, grace fleexe ii Boots
Schuh - £90
Many many years ago I bought the most adorable pair of red, Red or Dead slouchy ankle boots in college. They aren't the cheapest boots and I remember walking past Schuh everyday after college or during my lunch break gazing at them until I saved up enough money to buy them. I loved them till they were torn and tattered and in the end my mum binned them! A good few months back I bought the same pair but in a tan colour. They're the easiest things to throw on, there super comfortable and are now looking very loved. Since I own a lot of shoes as you can imagine not many get worn out and often I don't always love what I buy. Yet I know these will most likely be worn until there death and with the addition of a chunkier sole (I will need this) and fleece lining, I can't help but feel I need these before I have no soles left on my current pair.

Bottom left:
Black double strap high leg riding boots
New Look - £39.99
When I recently attended an event at The Body Shop I couldn't help but noticing the make up artist wearing the classiest on trend pair of boots. I did spend a little too long gazing at her boots practically sure they must of been from some top end designer boutique. I was almost sure they looked like Alexander Mcqueen or Burberry. Since it wasn't appropriate to yell out "where are your shoes from" during the Q&A section at the end, I cheekily asked her at the end. I'm not sure if I was delighted or gob-smacked they was in actual fact from New Look. The pictures online don't really do the boots justice at all but I can't assure you they look classy, elegant and would be a perfect addition to any work wear wardrobe.

Bottom right:
Ribbon trang tartan heels
Bank Fashion - £35.00
Tartan has been floating around the fashion sphere for a while now, or if you have a bit more rock chick in you then most, you will of always loved tartan and the cool punk vibe it gives. I instantly saw these and fell in love. As I'm trying to be a smarter shopper I do have a few doubts about these. They don't look out there enough for a night out, yet they look a bit too out there for day wear, so at the moment these remain sat on the self. Although they are very suited to my own personal style until I can dream up the perfect outfit to go with (smart shopping out the window) these unfortunately will remain on the WISHlist.

Monthly shoe wishlist

I've been itching to write this post for so long now, after I missed an August monthly shoe wishlist. After Leeds festival the pennies were limited and there was no point teasing myself. With autumn/winter on the way this shoe list is aimed at been practical and comfortable.

Top left:
Nike blazer mid trainers - £70.00 Schuh
I've developed a massive trainer crush the past few months and it's seemed impossible to find pairs I like in my size. Although Nike Blazers are rather common now, I can't deny I love them. They looks stylish yet conformable and since I've not worn in trainers in years, these are going to the top of my wishlist.

Top Right
White low top converse - £45.00 JDSports
Amongst my somewhat large shoe collection, my oldest and most worn pair of shoes will always be my Converse. Although my white converse are now black and looking very tattered I still don't have the heart to ever throw them away, or stop wearing them. I've been wearing Converse since my high school days and they will always remain somewhat timeless and classic. The price of converse seems to of gone up a lot since I remember buying my first pair but at least I can safely say these will be worn and will not remain unloved in the box.

Bottom left:
Dr Martens - £100 Topshop
I was somewhat grudged when I stumbled upon Dr Martens online at Topshop. Dr Martens for me will always have an icon feel associated with the grunge/rock scene and for me they do not belong in Topshop. Either way it doesn't stop me wanting a pair. Although I will disclaim I've wanted a pair for a long time before Topshop jumped on the bandwagon. In fact one of my first pair of shoes was Dr Martens (according to my mum they was the only shoes I didn't wear out within a few days). Now autumn/winter is coming it feels a more appropriate time to invest in a pair again.

Bottom Right:
Jeffrey Campbell 99 tie suede boots.
I need to add a little luxury to the wishlist and you all know I like my Jeffrey Campbell's.These boots seem very practical in comparison to my other JC's and I can imagine wearing these to work daily. Although there proving very hard to track down a pair at the moment with them been from a previous JC collection.

Nia

Babycham - Nia Wedges £55
I don't really own any wedges and the summer weather recently has made me lust after one or two pair. Most of the wedges I find seem to be more day wear however this pair would great dressed up or down. I also like the quirky retro 50s look of Babycham shoes .

necker red
Gandys Flip Flops £19.99
I can't lie, I'm sure for all you regular readers you will be aware I was sold purely by the name of these flip flops alone. I know I could pick a pair up in Primark for £1 however Gandys are and ethical brand what supports the charity orphans or orphans. These are going to the top of my holiday wish list.

Blowfish Banu Sandals £40
Again with the recent heatwave it made me aware my show collection isn't very summer friendly. Therefore I have been searching for a pair that can be versatile and these look simple enough for classy day wear yet they look classic enough to be dressed up for a summer evening.

Image 1 of ASOS TRACE Wedge Shoe Boots
ASOS - Trace Wedge Shoe Boots - £60
I love the perspex wedge and the cut out details on these shoes. They seem edgy yet practical enough for daily wear, however I like the idea of clashing these with a pretty floaty dress for a more grungy look.

Monthly Shoe Wishlist

Since I went a little overboard last month and bought a total of 11 pairs of shoes I am keeping this wishlist small. Although 3 pairs of shoes is probably still quite a lot to buy in one month. For me it will be a hard promise to keep. Therefore with this wishlist I'm going for quality over quantity.

So these heels are quite expensive but I feel this can be justified as there Dr Marten. It's the most hard wearing shoe brand out there in my eyes and known for quality. I really can't believe it took me this long to discover they make heels! I've been lusting over this pair for weeks now and after the trauma of a taxi driver stealing my favourite pair of shoes Friday, I kind of already ordered them. Bizarrely enough as I was typing this the post man arrived with them. There gorgeous! The post man did seem a little confused when my mum was yelling if there shoes don't give her them.

New Balance Trainers
I really am wishing for this item as I have been searching for a few months now for a pair of New Balance trainers in my size. I'm a size 5 by the way. It seems there like gold dust at the moment and sold out everywhere. A pair of nice trainers isn't something I currently own and my shoe collection is crying out for them. I think I might settle for a pair of classic Nike Cortez instead although there also proving a little hard to track down in my size.

Vivienne Westwood Melissa
I've been wanting a pair of Melissa shoes for years and there are currently some amazing styles out at the moment. It's been really hard to pick out my favourite pair but I love the chain ankle bracelet straps on these shoes. I've also been eyeing up the little booties as there currently in the sale and I can see them been pretty practical if we get snow again this year. I'm still not sure I could justify the price tag of these so I might have to wait for a sale.
